I guess it is time for a perspective switch. I am 22 and ready to be out of college. Sadly, I am not educationally in a place where I can leave with a degree. It our lovely work force that means I am going to have to take a bit more from the bank and take a few more classes. Not that I am looking forward to that, but I am tired. College is exhausting. For those who haven't been here for awhile, I spend hours on papers and communications between professors and students. I deal with those things called group projects, and they are horrid. I struggle though tests and forgotten assignments. I forget to sleep and eat someday and on others that is all I do. I stay up till 5 a.m. finishing an assignment and then fall asleep after class. I have lost a grip on that schedule that my parents follow. I have lost much contact with the outside world. This is not a complaint. This is my life, but the Lord is changing my feet. Maybe I won't leave this world that I have adjusted to, maybe I was placed here to change it. Because, with all these challenges around me, I have people who are struggling and hurting. Ones that need prayers and encouragement. Those that need help and care. Ones that I silently pray for as I pass them in the halls... There are ways to be far more intentional in my life and my friendships. I could begin to pour myself out and become what I know I am called to be. To become this person I will have to give up a lot of my desires. I was there once, living like that, and I miss it more than I can say. This will be a trying and testing week.
Prayers:
Could you please pray for my search for the right direction and that I would be more intentional in my faith.
